Rhythms Of The World

Mountain Rythym Drums and Tanglefoot Lodge have joined forces to organize a weekend of learning music in an entertaining, energetic environment, Rhythms of the World.

This weekend event will be held from June 23-25, at the Tanglefoot Lodge in Lakefield, ON. Attendees at the Rhythms of the World workshop will be introduced to hands-on instruction in Brazilian, North Indian, African, Cuban and Spanish percussion and will also learn from a guided listening session. Ensemble playing is also part of the instruction. All experience levels are welcome to this intimate event as there is an extremely high student to teacher ratio. Teachers include Rick Lazar, Ray Dillard, Andy Morris and Paul Ormandy.

The weekend rate is $350 + GST per person, which includes all accommodations for Friday and Saturday, all meals and snacks, instruction and use of the facilities at Tanglefoot Lodge.
