Benny Greb Drum Clinics

Augsburg, Germany-born drummer, Benny Greb, will be coming to Canada to host four live drumming clinics.

He has been an “autodictatic drummer” since he was 6 years old and began taking lessons when he was 12. He studied with Udo Dahmen at the vocational school for music in Dinkelsbul from 1997-2000 and has been an instructor at the Hamburg School of Music since 2002.

Sponsored by Sonor, Remo, ProMark and Meinl, the clinics will begin at the Montreal Drumfest 2005 on Sunday, Nov. 13, at 1 p.m. This will be held at the Centre Pierre Peladeau, 300 Boul. De. Maisonneuve Est., Montreal, PQ. The second clinic will be held at Melody Music on Monday, Nov. 14, at 8 p.m. this will be at Jazz Magnolia’s, 1541 Vincent Massey Dr., Cornwall, ON (613) 933-0250. The third clinic will be at Kingston Soundworks on Tuesday, Nov. 15 at 7 p.m. This will be held at the Time To Laugh Comedy Club, 394 Princes St., Kingston, ON (613) 546-9999. Finally, the last clinic will be at Music Pro on Wednesday, Nov. 16, at 7 p.m. This will be held at Music Pro, 74 Dunlop St. E., Barrie, ON (705) 726-5051.
