Scotia Entertainment Acoustic Showcase At Renaissance Café

The Renaissance Café in Toronto, ON, will be host to the Scotia Entertainment Acoustic Showcase on Saturday, May 27.

The guest host for Toronto’s Independent Songwriter Showcase will be Pat Johnson and featured artists include Kim Jarrett, Amy Jacobs, Darren Arsenault, Gerry LeBlanc and Ellen Carol. Advanced tickets are available at www.ticketbreak.com, where a group rate of five tickets can be purchased for $20. Individual tickets are $5, and the group rate only applies to advanced ticket purchases. All advance ticket holders will also be put into a draw to win prizes that will be given away at the showcase.

The door opens at 9 p.m. and there is limited seating, so buying an advance ticket and arriving early is recommended. To carpool from the Kitchener/Waterloo area, contact Terry Holdershaw, [email protected].

This showcase is held monthly, and starting in July it will be held on the third Friday of each month. Come check out this showcase then submit for your chance to perform. While a Web site with your bio and samples of your music work best, submissions can also be made by sending a CD, MP3s or EPKs to Scotia Entertainment Services.
