Guitar Summit Benefits CMEC

On Wednesday, March 29, at 8 p.m. Long & McQuade will hold the annual Guitar Summit benefit show.

All proceeds from the show will go to the Coalition for Music Education in Canada (CMEC), a non-profit organization that ensures all Canadian children have access to music education. This year the show will feature Club Django, acclaimed Gypsy Swing Sextet; Pavlo, award-winning classical guitarist; Jimmy Bowskill, blues-playing dynamo; Don Ross, fingerstyle guitar champion; Jack DeKeyzer, Maple Blues Award Guitarist of the Year; Sean ‘Crash’ Kelly, glam rock guitar god and Jeff Martin, formerly of Tea Party. Tickets are $12 and are available at all Toronto-area Long & McQuade locations. The Guitar Summit benefit show will be held at Healey’s Nightclub, 178 Bathurst St., (416) 703-5882.
