Long & McQuade hosts Bert Smorenburg

Long & McQuade proudly announces that it will be hosting an mLAN Music Networking Clinic their Bloor St. location in Toronto on August 25.

In this clinic Smorenburg will cover the 01X, i88X and mLAN16E card in a MOTIF ES synthesizer and how they can all interconnect with your computer using Firewire cables.
Interested parties should email their name and contact information (phone number and/or email address) to the Bloor St. location of Long & McQuade for the purposes of notification of any unforeseen changes to the scheduled event. Seating is on a first come, first served basis.

Long & McQuade Meet & Greet With Deep Purple Drummer

Long & McQuade’s Brampton, ON location will be hosting the first in a series of Masterclasses, this one featuring Ian Paice of Deep Purple. Taking place on Sunday, August 22, 2004, from 1-3 p.m., tickets can be purchased at the Brampton L&M, located at 370 Main St. N., Brampton, ON, (905) 450-4334, for a price of $10.

Ian Paice will be demonstrating his legendary techniques as well as discussing his career, answering questions, signing autographs and perhaps posing for some photos. Presented in conjunction with Paiste and Pearl, tickets purchased will enter attendees into a draw for one of Paice’s Pearl Signature snare drums on the day of the event.
