Dunnett Classic Drums Launches Website

Canadian drumsmith Ronn Dunnett has launched an entirely new website for Dunnett Classic Drums, found at www.dunnett.com. The new site is a product of the vision and design of Dunnett and Curt “Gooru” Hemmingway.

“As I’ve tried to do with my drum designs, I wanted a site that was clean, original, modular, and was able to port the most important aspects of social media directly into the site,” Dunnett shares. “From the day I started Dunnett Classic, the website has been the most important tool.” (more…)

CBC Launches Free Digital Music Service

2012 JUNO Nominees Announced

CARAS has today announced the nominees for the 2012 JUNO Awards, taking place in Ottawa on April 1st.

Also announced is that William Shatner  will host the gala which will see performances by City and Colour, Deadmau5, Feist, Blue Rodeo and Sarah Mclachlan, Hedley, Nickelback, among others.

Nimbus Launches Hip Hop Production Program

The Nimbus School of Recoding Arts has launched a one-year music production program designed to teach skills specific to producing hip hop and urban music. The Beats & Urban Music Production (BUMP) was designed in partnership with Grammy Award winning producer & songwriter Chin Injeti, who won for his work on the Eminem album Recovery. Chin has also worked with 50 Cent, Drake, Clipse, Esthero, DJ Khalil, 88 Keys, Organized Noize, and more.
