In honour of the late guitarist Jay Smith, a benefit concert in being held on March 26 in Halifax. Proceeds from the event will go to the Unison Benevolent Fund, a non-profit organization that provides counselling, emergency relief, and benefit programs for the Canadian music community who face personal or professional challenges due to hardship, illness, unemployment or economic difficulties.

The event takes place at the The Carleton Music Bar & Grill in Halifax on Wed., March 26, at 8 p.m. Tickets are now available for $25 at www.thecarleton.ca.
