First Group Of 2012 Juno Performers Announced

CTV and The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) announced the first round of artists confirmed to perform on CTV’s broadcast of the 2012 Juno Awards on Sunday, April 1 from Scotiabank Place in Ottawa.

The first group of performers announced to take the stage at the 2012 Juno Awards are: Blue Rodeo, the 2012 Canadian Music Hall of Fame recipients; City and Colour, JUNO Award-winning singer-songwriter and current CM cover artist; deadmau5, award-winning producer and electronic artist; and Feist, the award-winning recording artist

“Coming off of the most-watched JUNO Awards broadcast on record, we are excited to continue to bring the nation the biggest and most spectacular night of Canadian music all year,” says Phil King, President CTV Programming and Sports. “The already diverse line-up announced today is just the beginning of what we have in store for this year’s broadcast.”
