The lineup of Canadian talent confirmed to perform at JUNOfest was announced today by The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS). Over 95 artists are set to play JUNO Week during the two-night annual music celebration that can be seen at 15 stages across Vancouver. The music festival presented by CBC Music will take place on Friday, March 23 and Saturday, March 24.

Wristbands for JUNOfest will be available for $30 (plus tax and service fees) and are on sale now at JUNOfest wristbands offer priority access to all JUNOfest venues over two nights (subject to capacity). Individual tickets will also be sold in advance at and available at the door of each venue ($15-$30).

This year the festival will include JUNOfest Classical presented by CBC Music in association with the Canadian Music Centre on Saturday, March 24 at 2 p.m.. The line up includes performances by phenomenal Canadian pianist Jan Lisiecki, stars of the opera world Isabel Bayrakdarian and Philippe Sly, Toronto’s celebrated ARC Ensemble, internationally acclaimed cellist Johannes Moser and a spotlight on two of Canada’s greatest composers – Jocelyn Morlock and Alice Ping Lee Ho. Hosted by CBC Music’s Paolo Pietropaolo, the showcase will be held in CBC’s Studio 1 (700 Hamilton St., Vancouver, BC V6B 2R5), and will be streamed live via and pre-recorded to broadcast the highlights on Sunday March 25 on CBC Music at 11 a.m. (11:30 a.m. NT). This year’s event will also see CBC Music Presents q LIVE at the JUNOS on Thursday, March 22. Featuring live interviews and performances from Lights, Jann Arden, Bob Rock, Jill Daum, Ivan Decker, and a special ‘q This’ segment with Raina Douris and Odario Williams at the Vogue Theatre (918 Granville St.) at 7 p.m. 50 JUNOfest wristband holders will be permitted access on a first-come-first-serve basis. The show will also be live-streamed via the CBC Music website, Facebook and YouTube pages and will be recorded to air Canada-wide on Friday, March 23, on CBC Radio One at 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. Tickets are $20 including all service charges and can be purchased on the q website.

Also joining this year’s festivities on Friday, March 23 is JUNOfest Christian hosted by Coastal Church (1160 W. Georgia St.). The night will begin at 6:30 p.m. and is set to combine music and meaning with performances by 2018 JUNO Award nominees Jon Neufeld, and The Color, as well as Vancouver’s own Warren Dean Flandez and his high energy, soulful, Gospel choir. The evening will also support ACTS, providing clean water to communities in Uganda.  Tickets are available for $10 at, 25 JUNOfest wristband holders will be permitted access on a first-come-first-serve basis.

CBC Music and Coastal Jazz and Blues will present JUNOfest Jazz, featuring performers from across Canada representing a number of 2018 JUNO-nominated albums. This special evening will be directed by multi-JUNO Award winner, Phil Dwyer, and hosted by CBC’s Margaret Gallagher at 9 p.m. on Friday, March 23 at Frankie’s (755 Beatty St.). The musical night will also include a tribute to the late Tommy Banks and feature performances by William Carn, Ernesto Cervini, Tara Davidson, Mike Downes, Phil Dwyer, Christine Jensen and Ingrid Jensen. Additionally, the showcase will be recorded for jazz fans to relive the highlights on CBC Radio One’s Hot Air, Saturday, March 24 at 5 p.m. PT and later that night on CBC Music’s Saturday Night Jazz at 8 p.m.

A limited number of JUNOfest wristband holders will also be permitted access to other shows throughout the weekend including Brett Kissel at the Vogue Theatre (100 wristbands each night).

CARAS sayas it’s proud to partner with Good Night Out (GNO) Vancouver, Tegan and Sara Foundation, The Vancouver JUNO Host City Committee, WorkSafe BC and the Downtown Vancouver Business Improvement Association, to implement safety measures inside music venues and on the streets of Vancouver during JUNO Week. In collaboration with venues, security staff and Vancouver Police Department, the Good Night Out Street team will be deployed downtown Vancouver and around JUNOfest venues, maintaining a visible presence and providing support to any vulnerable patrons when needed.
