ADD1-CosmoFestCosmoFEST is returning to Cosmo Music in Richmond Hill, ON this Saturday, June 3rd. Admission and parking is free with lots of activities for all ages.

In celebration of Canada’s 150 birthday, every Main Stage act represents the best home-grown talent in several genres ranging from folk, country, classic rock, indie rock to modern alternative. Free Main Stage concerts kick off at 12:30 p.m. with Jacob Moon (folk), 2 p.m. with Meghan Patrick (country), 3:45 p.m. with Honeymoon Suite (classic rock), 5:30 p.m. with The Beaches (indie rock), and this year’s headliners at 7:15 p.m. – Mother Mother (modern alternative).

There is also a line up of some renowned musicians leading Cosmopolitan Music Hall Performance Clinics. These intimate sessions are ticketed – only $15 per clinic. Chris Coleman (drummer, Prince) is up first at 9:30 a.m., followed by Nili Brosh (guitarist, The Iron Maidens) at 12:15 p.m., Alain Caron (bassist, UZEB) at 2 p.m., Dennis Chambers at 3:45 p.m. (drummer, Santana), and Nita Strauss at 6 p.m. (guitarist, Alice Cooper).

Most of the aforementioned artists and acts will be taking part in free Meet N’ Greet sessions in the Expo Tent throughout the day. Other special guests joining these sessions are the legendary Eddie Kramer (audio engineer for The Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles), Canada’s own guitar genius Clifton Broadbridge, and one of the best guitarist out there today, Greg Koch. Full session schedule is available at

Everyone is invited to arrive early as CosmoFEST starts at 9 a.m., and organizers say its best to arrive before 8 a.m. to get in line for the $10,000 Opening Lineup Giveaway. Expo Tent where there will be 200+ product experts representing more than 120 brands with close to $40,000 in Grand Prizes. There will also be a Kidz Zone, food trucks, and beer garden.
