“A huge thank you is in order for the city of Saint John, which has been an incredible host for the 2017 ECMAs. Congratulations to all of this year’s awards winners and nominees, and thank you to all of the fantastic East Coast artists who’ve performed throughout the week,” says Andy McLean, ECMA Executive Director. “The ECMAs is our way of showcasing East Coast talent to the world. Thank you to all of the delegates and export buyers for joining us at this amazing event. I’m sure this year will result in a significant amount of business and showcasing opportunities for our artists and music industry members.”

“On behalf of the ECMA Board of Directors, I want to thank you all for your exemplary dedication to ensuring that the 2017 ECMAs was the very best event possible. I want to especially thank our dedicated staff, who work around the year to ensure that this event is a success. An event of this magnitude is impossible to carry out without the contributions of a dedicated team of local volunteers. And the work of Lisa Gribbons and Chuck Teed, Co-Chairs of the Local Engagement Committee, should also be recognized, as they and their team have worked tirelessly to ensure that Saint John is indeed Saint Awesome,” says Dean Stairs, Chair of the ECMA Board. “Last but by no means least, thank you to the city and people of Saint John, New Brunswick. You have welcomed us with open arms, and your energy and spirit have been infectious and inspiring. You have made our work a pleasure!”
