#CMPremiere – Cold Creek County’s “Money” (Live from Music in the Fields)

Wednesday, October 11th, 2017

We’re thrilled to have the boys from Cold Creek County on the cover of the upcoming November/December 2017 issue of Canadian Musician. To get you revved up for the read, we’ve got this exclusive #CMPremiere of the band performing “Money” for a massive crowd at Music in the Fields in Lucknow, ON earlier this summer. The track (which isn’t actually about money) comes from Cold Creek County’s 2017 EP Homemade and showcases this talented group of musicians in top form.

Cold Creek County’s signature multi-part vocal harmonies are bigger and more upfront nowadays. The feel-good party songs from the band’s 2015 debut, Till The Wheels Come Off, have also given way to a warm and more reflective look at the people and places around them for their latest Homemade EP.

The band has a new singer, with Dalmeny, SK’s (population 1,702) Ches Anthony taking over centre stage duties. Cold Creek County is now a six-piece band with banjoist/vocalist Jordan Honsinger brought on full time after touring with CCC for the past 18 months.

He and Anthony fit right in with the band that also includes Josh Lester (guitar, vocals), Trevor MacLeod (lead guitar, vocals), Justin Lester (bass, vocals), and Doug Oliver (drums, vocals).

Produced and mixed by Scott Cooke (Florida Georgia Line, Nickelback) and Oliver, Homemade showcases a new, more mature side of Cold Creek County pushing the bands vocal harmonies to the forefront.

Fans can expect another EP in the first half of 2018.
